How do I split a PDF for free?

What does the range syntax look like?

Use commas to separate ranges. A single number (`5`) extracts that page. A dash (`7-10`) extracts a contiguous range. So `1-3, 5, 7-10` produces three PDFs: pages 1–3, page 5 alone, and pages 7–10.

We attempt to load encrypted PDFs in best-effort mode. For fully password-protected files, decrypt with the original password first, then split.
